Aright everyone CodyDon here! (usually shortened to just "Cody") Welcome to my channel! I simply post videos of the (sometimes crazy) things that I do; this includes science, bees, and anything else that I am working on. Enjoy! If you need to send me something here is my UPS Box address: 41 East 400 North, Logan Utah, Box 303 (area code 84321) Please note that due to the large number of items sent to me I cannot make a video on everything but in case I do and you want to be recognized then include a business card that I can show in video. also if the item is valuable, say over 50$, please send me an email first so that I can let you know if I actually want it or if you should say put it on eBay instead. And finally nothing illegal (in Utah) please, if you send me some illegal seeds I will have to report it.
In this video I show where my mercury came from. See me extracting mercury from the ore here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtvVzh-zfyo I forgot to mention that I only recently got the mercury back from a family member who was keeping it so little kid me didn't play with it too much. What the what? Jeff uploaded something besides a GUN video? Why am I speaking in third-person? How is this even possible? We pour mercury on top of table salt. Hg is 7 TIMES denser than salt- the salt should float. Why doesn't it just freely float to the surface? This is not CGI or camera trickery. It's not stunt-salt or magician's mercury... Mercury is a toxic, heavy metal. We use all precautions needed to do these experiments. Often I just make it...

Aluminum is normally protected by a thick oxide layer, but the formation of the amalgam disrupts it. It allows fresh aluminum to react with air to form white aluminum oxide. As the oxide grows, it forms as these cool white fibers. ------------------------------------------ NileRed Shop: www.nilered.ca Facebook: https://goo.gl/uyxvJV Instagram: https://goo.gl/z4hFse Patreon: https://goo.gl/3h353G

Mercury, also known as quicksilver, is a very dense liquid metal. It remains a liquid down to about -40c. Normally you would have to fill a water balloon using a hose or a pump. But because mercury has a density that is about 13.5 times that of water, you can just fill a water balloon by just pouring it in using a funnel. Be sure to watch my other Hg videos where we do simple demonstrations that show the remarkable properties of this unusual element. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL786EBDC8D2B4CD1D - - -...
I extract metallic iron from the ground using some chemistry and a new induction heater. At some point I'll get around to turning the pig iron into steel and making something from it. In this video I see what happens if you stir or mix water really fast. Does the temperature increase because of water friction? If so, can we actually get the water to boil just from mixing it? First I test it by hand then I see how it compares to using more power such as a Blendtech blender. WARNING: This video is for entertainment purposes only. Bill explains that the hardest step is making the proper type of uranium. Weapons and power plants require uranium that contains a greater amount of the isotope uranium-235 than found in natural uranium, which is mostly uranium-238. He outlines the key difficulty in separating the two isotope: They have nearly identical properties. He explains the two key methods for separation: Gas diffusion and centrifuges.
